| My Dear Cousin, I am sending you a history of our family from another cousin in Brisbane Austrailia. Mrs Malvina Longland. She was a daughter of Geo Vaugh who always insisted the name should be spelled Vaux not Vaugh the first part is all history to you and me till we come to Walter who got Ballinaboy as part of the Cromwellian settlemant, a bit of which I have still and now taking from me by a home rule Government at half its price. Thank the dear lady for her letter she is a wonder but you see the family were generally long lived. We are keeping quiet here and trying to now get compensation for all the distruction done during the last 2 years. With love and best wishes to all. |
