This picture of Mr and Mrs C Longland of Australia, was taken, so I believe in the 1920's.
Mrs Longland (Malvina) is the daughter of George Victor Le Vaux. There is a whole story behind
their family which can be seen in detail by following this link. In brief she wrote to my great great uncle,
Wilton Vaugh giving details of her family histoy. Her father was born in Manchester England in 1842.

I have not been able to find an entry for his birth in the national birth indexes. These are held at the
Family Records Centre, Mydleton Street, London England. See my Genealogy page for a full list
of birth, marriage and death indexes. I do have records for a Vaugh family in the Manchester area
headed by William Vaugh. Though no link with George Victor, his father James or any others
mentioned in the Vaux family history that George Victor wrote.
