This photograph shows Drumlease parish church in Dromahaire, County Leitrim.
In the graveyard are buried Charlotte La Touche Whyte, daughter of Wilton
Vaugh. Two of Charlotte's three daughters are also buried here. Gordon
Vaugh, who died 27th Dec 1917 in France, a brother of Charlotte, is
named on a roll of honour plaque inside the church which lists several
men who fought in the Great War 1914 - 1918. Wilton owned several
properties in this area and descendants of his still live near here.
