Deed Waugh to Dockery Vol 744 Pg 355 Entry 506690
To the Register appointed by Act of Parliament for registering Deeds conveyances
and soforth -
A Memorial of an Indented Deed of Conveyance bearing Date the Eleventh day of
September in the year of our Lord God one thousand eight hundred and nineteen
and made between Walter Waugh of Carrick in the County of Lietrim Blacksmith
of the one part and Patk Dockery of Carrick aforesaid Merchant of the
other part Whereby after reciting that Richd St George Late of Carrick
aforesaid Esq by Indenture of Lease bearing Date the fourth day of April one
thousand seven hundred and eighty did Devise unto the sd Walter Waugh all
of that Plott & Parcel of ground in the Town of Carrick Containing in Breadth
in the front to the street or High Road of Carrick thirty three feet in breadth
Twenty one feet be the same more or less being the Waste House formerly held
by Edwd Houghton north side of the street subject to the rent and bounded
as therein mentd And Reciting that the Revd Joseph Bennett Late of Carrick
aforesaid by Indres of Lease bearing Date the Sixth day of April in the year
of our Lord one thousand Seven Hundred and ninety six Devised unto the sd Walter
Waugh all of that and those the Plott of ground where the old Forge was
built at the back of sd Walter Waughs house in Ck on Shannon aforesd
in a direct line from the upper Gable of sd Waughs House to the gable
of the old Forge next the Jail subject to the rent & Covts?? and bounded
as therein mentd to Hold to sd Walter Waugh for and during the Lives
??sd recited Indres+ of Lease mentd And said Deed Witnessed that the said Walter
Waugh for and in Consideration of the sum of Fifty four pounds ster did
grant and covey His Int of in and to sd plots unto the said Patk Dockery
his Heirs and assigns to Hold unto him his Heirs and assigns for and during
all the rest residue and remd of the term yet to come and Unexpired ?????? by
Virtue of the sd Recited Indres of Lease and in said Deed is Contd a Covt that
sd Walter Waugh Had a right to sell if that too free from Incumberences
a Covenant for peaceable enjoyments and forfeiture assurance and said Deed and
this memrl are witnessed by Charles Flynn of Carrick Shopman and John
Lawder of the City of Dublin Attny at Law

The above named John Lawder maketh oath and saith he is a subscribing witness to and did see the deed whereof the above is a true memorial duly Signed Sealed and Exed by the parties thereto and saith the name John Lawder subscribed as a witness to sd Deed and memorial is this depts proper name and Hand writing John Lawder (sign) Sworn before me at Carrick on Shannon County of Leitrim the 11th day of Sept 1819 by virtue of ?? sworn to and ???? affds ????????
