Created by Allen Lutins and Bernard-Olivier Clist. Includes links to subject Web guides,
discussion lists, newsgroups, gophers and FTP sites. Resources listed are directly and
primarily of anthropological relevance. Sites dealing only tangentially with anthropology,
such as native issues, "primitive art", history, etc. have been ommited.

A section of SOCIG (Social Sciences
Information Gateway) this site is maintained by the Manchester University Library. SOCIG
is a catalog of internet resources with links to Web sites only (no links to Web guides).
Excellent resource for social anthropology and ethnology.

Project of the South and Meso American Indian Rights Center. Provides information on the
indigenous peoples of Mexico, Central and South America from an indigenous point of view.

Web site of the Center For World Indigenous Studies' Fourth World Documentation Project.
Contains a library of texts about Indegenous rights.

Produced by the Library of Congress, the Handbook is a bibliography on Latin America.
Contains works selected and annotated by scholars. Published since 1935, with on average
5000 titles added each year.

The archaeology section of the WWW Virtual Library, ArchNET is an excellent site
maintained by the University of Connecticut. Information is organized by regions, subject
areas, museums, journals. A site search engine is available.
