I KATE PEYTON FRAZER of Annagh Ballyfarnon in the County of Sligo
do make this my last will and testament HEREBY REVOKING all other wills
and testaments at anytime heretofore made by me IAPPOINT my nephew Major
Edward Frazer of Curradoey Ballinafad to be the executor and Trustee
of this my will and I DIRECT him out of my estate to pay my funeral and
testamentary expenses I WILL DEVISE AND BEQUEATH to my sister Miss Anna
Catherine Frazer of Annagh should she survive me everything I die possessed
of including all my property real and personal houses lands monies investments
and securities After the death of my said sister Anna Catherine Frazer
I DIRECT my Trustee and executor to invest four thousand pounds of my
estate or so much thereof as will produce an annual sum of two hundred pounds
which I DIRECT to be paid to my nephew Captain Harold Frazer fourth
son of my brother Dr John Frazer for his life and after the death of
the said Captain Harold Frazer I WILL AND DIRECT that the capital
so invested be realized and paid to my nephew Major Eddy Frazer or if
the said Major Eddy Frazer shall not survive my said nephew Captain Harold
Frazer then I DIRECT that the said sum so invested by realised and
divided in equal shares between Edward Frazer and Elizabeth Anna Frazer
children of my said nephew Major Edward Frazer I WILL DEVISE AND BEQUEATH
to Nurse Mary Kirby of 19 Richmond Hill Dublin the sum of One hundred
pounds to be paid to her after the death of my said sister Miss Anna Catherine
Frazer free of legacy duty I LEAVE WILL AND BEQUEATH to Beatrice
Silver the sum of Fifty pounds if in employment at my house at Annagh
at the time of the death of my sister Anna C.Frazer I WILL AND BEQUEATH
to Phillip O’Connell the sum of Fifty pounds if he is also in employment
at Annagh at my said sister Anna C.Frazer’s death I WILL AND BEQUEATH
to my cook Alice and my house maid Mary McCormick a full years
wages each if they are in employment at Annagh at the time of my death All these
legacies to Beatrice Silver Philip O’Connell my cook Alice and
house-maid Mary McCormick to be paid after the death of my said sister
Anna C.Frazer free of legacy duty but if my said sister Anna C.Frazer
shall have to send away any of the aforementioned servants by reason of her
the said Anna C.Frazer having to leave Annagh herself then I DIRECT
that that the said Beatrice Silver, Philip O’Connell my housemaid
Mary McCormick and my cook Alice shall be paid their legacies
as aforesaid except they or either of them are dismissed for wilful misconduct
After the payment of the legacies aforesaid and after my said sister Anna
Catherine Frazers death I WILL DEVISE AND BEQUEATH all my property
of every kind soever to my said nephew Major Edward Frazer my trustee
and executor subject to said legacies and annuity --------

THIS IS A CODICIL to my last will I DIRECT that if my said nephew Captain Harold Frazer shall get married and have issue the said four thousand or such portion of my estate as shall be invested to produce said two hundred pounds shall on the death of the said Captain Harold Frazer be divided equally amongst his children then alive but if the said Captain Harold Frazer shall die without issue then on the death of the said Captain Harold Frazer the bequest of said money so invested to my nephew Major Edward Frazer if alive and if dead to his two children Edward and Elizabeth Anna shall take effect as in my said will IN all other respects I RATIFY and confirm my said will DATED this 26th day of August 1931. -------

BE IT KNOWN that on the 29th day of March 1933 the last Will and one Codicil a copy of which signed by the Probate Officer is hereunto annexed of KATE PAYTON FRAZER late of Annagh Ballyfarnon in the County of Sligo Spinster deceased who died on or about the 17th day of December 1932 at same place was proved and registered in the Principal Registry and that the Administration of the personal estate of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to EDWARD FRAZER of Curradooey Ballinafad in said County Major H.M.Army nephew of deceased the sole Executor named in the said Will he having been first sworn faithfully to administer the same
AND IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that an Affidavit for Inland Revenue has been delivered wherein it is shown that the gross value of the personal estate of the said deceased within the Irish Free State (exclusive of what the deceased may have been possessed of or entitled to as a Trustee and not beneficially) amounts to £4477.12.3 for the purpose of Estate Duty
AND THAT IT APPEARS by a receipt signed by an Inland Revenue Officer on the said Affidavit that £213.1.2. for Estate Duty and Interest thereon has been paid the Duty being charged thereon at the rate of £4 per cent.
