Marre Settlemt bearing date the 17th day of Octr 1805 and made Between French McDERMOTROE
Eldest son of Thos McDERMOTROE of Aldnford (?) in the County of Roscommon Esq of the one part
and Archid FRAZER and Cathe Fitzgerald FRAZER second daughter of the sd Archid FRAZER of
Tullinure in the Barony of Tyunl (?) (I think it's Tullynure Tirerrill) Coy of Sligo Esq of the other part Reciting that a
marriage was intended to be had and solemnized between the sd French McDERMOTROE
and sd Cathe Fitzgerald FRAZER and that in considn of sd intended marre and of the marriage
portion of the sd Cathe Fitzgerald FRAZER and for the purpose of providing a competent junction
for the sd Cathe Fitzgerald FRAZER in case she shall survive the sd French McDERMOTROE
her intended husband and making a provision for the issue of said marriage and for the purpose of setting
limiting and securing the several towns lands tenements and kered?? Following to and for such uses
intents and purposes as herein after expressed & declared of and concerning the same --------------------------
And reciting that the said French McDERMOTTROE as being the eldest son of Thos McDERMOTTROE of Alderford
in the county of Roscommon Esqr would upon the death of his said father become seized and possed of
the four quarters of Carnagh commonly called Alderford with all its sub Denominations and also the
Town and Lands of Guaghnaglough annagh Carrigianagaur Derontawse Tawlagh Dannow or
Durnanmore Mullane and Dareennagallan with the sub Denominations Situate lying and being in
the Barony of Boyle and County of Roscommon and that said estates should go to the use of and belong
at the heirs of the said French McDERMOTTROE lawfully begotten on the Body of the said Catherine Fitzgerald
FRAZER and recitingthat in case the said Catherine Fitzgerald FRAZIER should survive the sd French
McDERMOTTEROE the sd Catherine on such event was to receive as her ?????? tune one annuity or yearly
rent charge of £200 Ster clear of all charge to be issuing and chargeable upon all Glings ? the towns lands
and premises herein before mentd payable thereout on every first day of May and first day of Novr in equal
payment during her life the first payment to be made on such of said Days as should first be next to happen
after the death of the said French McDERMOTTROE with power to destrain for the same which in arrear
and unpaid And the said French McDERMOTTROE covenanting that he will not hereafter make any
lease of any part of the before mentd Lands in Re???rsion ? or where out of lease longer than one
life or 31 years and that an improved rent and that in case he should that the same shall in no
case be lending upon his Heirs and that the First son of sd French McDERMOTTROE lawfully
begotten on the body of the sd Catherine Fitzgerald FRAZER and the Heirs Male of such issue or
first son lawfully issuing should enjoy said Estates and for default of such issue to the use of the
second son of the said French McDERMOTTROE on the Body of the said Catherine Fitzgerald
FRAZER and Heirs male of such second son and for default of such issue to the third fourth
Fifth & Sixth son and every other son and sons of the said French McDERMOTTROE on the body of
the said Catherine Fitzgerald FRAZER successively and in remr one after another and in case of
failure of issue male then to the use of the eldest Daughter of the said French McDERMOTTROE
begotten on the Body of the said Catherine Fitzgerald FRAZER and to the heirs male of such
Daughter lawfully issuing provided her husband shall take the name of McDERMOTTROE and
and in case of failure of issue in the First of such Daughters then to go to the second third fourth
fifth sixth and every Daughter and Daughters of the said French McDERMOTTROE on the body
of the said Catherine Fitzgerald FRAZER successively and in remr one after another and further
that the younger children of said intended marriage shall become entitled to and remain out of the
before mentd lands the sum of £4000 ster to be paid to such younger son or sons Daughter or Daurs
in such share and proportions and at such times and with such interest for the same from the
death of the said French McDERMOTTROE as the said French McDERMOTTROE by and Deed or
writing by him duly executed in the presence of the in or more witnesses or by his last will and
Testament Attested by the liel?? Number of witnesses shall direct and for want of such direction
to pay or distribute the £4000 share alike among the younger children of the said French
McDERMOTTROE on the body of the sd Catherine Fitzgerald FRAZER with lawfull interest from the
death of said French McDERMOTTROE until they shall respecly attain the age of sixteen years
for their maintenance & education their proportions to be paid to said younger children on their
Attaining their age of 21 years And which sd Deed is Witnessed by John GRAY of Sligo Esqe the
Revd John MAXWELL Curate of the Parish of Tarnagh in the sd County of Sligo and Wm
PEYTON of Dremdocin in the County of Roscommon Esqe and this meml as to the perfation thereof
by the sd Archd FRAZER is also witnessed by the said Wm PEYTON and by John HAYES of
Tullyinure in the County of Sligo ~ Archd FRAZER (seal) Signed and sealed in the presence of
Wm PEYTON John P FRAZER The above mentioned Wm PEYTON maketh oath and saith that he is a subg
witness to the Deed of which the above writing is a meml and also to the above Meml and saith he saw the sd
Deed duly signed and Sealed and executed by French McDERMOTTROE Archd FRAZER and Catherine Fitzgerald FRAZER
the executing parties thereto and also saw the above meml duly signed sealed & perfected by Archd
FRAZER the perfecting to said meml and saith that the name Wm PEYTON Subd as a witness to said deed
and meml is the Deps proper name & hand writing Wm PEYTON sworn before me at Boyle in the Coy
of Roscommon this fifth day of Dec 1805 A Master lxty appd by common for taking Os
