TRANSCRIPT OF A DEED FROM THE REGISTRY OF DEEDS DUBLIN

1856 Vol 24 entry 90
Registered 19th August 1856 at 25 minutes after 12 O'clock
Vaugh & ors to GARDINER

To the Registrar appointed by act of parliament for registering deeds and soforth in Ireland
A memorial of a deed of conveyance bearing date the seventh day
of Sept one thousand eight hundred and forty nine and made between Anne VAUGH
of Cammagh in said County of Leitrim Widow George VAUGH of Cammagh
in said County farmer and Margaret VAUGH otherwise HEWITT his
wife of the one part and Matthew GARDINER of Carrick on Shannon in said
county builder of the other part whereby after reciting that the said Anne
VAUGH was seized in her demise as of fee of and in the lands
therein & herein after described and that the said George VAUGH and Margaret
VAUGH had some claim thereto it was by said deed witnessed that for
the consideration therein mentioned they the said Anne VAUGH George VAUGH
and Margaret VAUGH granted bargained sold delivered released and confirmed
unto the said Matthew GARDINER and to his heirs assigns all that
and those part of the lands of Cammagh lately in the possession of the
said George VAUGH containing six acres Irish Plantation measure or there abouts
with the dwelling houses and lime kiln thereon situate in the parish of
Kiltoghert and Barony of Leitrim and County of Leitrim To hold said lands as
a jares ?? with the dwelling houses lime kiln and appurternces for ever
and which deed contained other clauses covenants and agreements and as to
the execution thereof by said parties thereto same is
witnessed by James HILL of Shrone Keera in the Co of Roscommon
Land Surveyor and George VAUGH of Leitrim in the Co of Leitrim farmer and this
memorial thereof as to its execution by said Matthew GARDINER same also
witnessed by the said James HILL and also by Charles IRWIN of Carrick on Shannon
in the Co of Leitrim Matthew GARDINER (seal) signed sealed and delivered by the
said Matthew GARDINER in presence of James HILL Charles IRWIN the above named James HILL of Shrone
Keera in the Co of Roscommon Land Surveyor aged upwards of thirty years
maketh oath and said that deponent is a subscribing witness to and said
the deed of which the foregoing is a memorial duly executed by the parties there to
and that deponent is also a subscribing witness to and saw the forgoing
memorial duly executed by the said Matthew GARDINER and that the name James HILL subscribed as a
witness to said deed and memorial respectively is the same and is the proper
hand writing of deponent James HILL sworn before me the twenty eight day of
July One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Six at Carrick on Shannon in the Co of
Leitrim. Master Extraordinary duly appointed by the high court of chancery in Ireland
for taking affidavits there for in and for said County and I know the deponent
