memorial of an indented deed of Marriage settlemt bearg date the 27th day of July 1813 and made between Jno GRAY esqr Capt in his Majestys Wexford regiment of militia of the first part Alicia Margaret VAUGH of Castlerea in the Coy of Roscommon spinster of the second part and George VAUGH of Castlerea apr Esqe of the third part whereby the said George VAUGH in considn of a marriage to be had and solemized between the said Jno GRAY and the said Alicia Margt VAUGH the said Geo VAUGH in order to secure a competent settlement on his said daughter the said Alicia Margaret VAUGH hath bargain ......... ......... .............. unto the said Jno GRAY his heirs exors admoles and ap all his the said George VAUGHs right title and interest yet to be .... ...... of in and to the lands of Arm called Dealfield and also all his right title and interest in and to the plott in the town of Castlerea all which said Geo VAUGH hath not yet built houses togr with a house of the garden and yard therein belonging to have and to hold to the said Tos GRAY his heirs exors admons for and during the term and terms the said Geo VAUGH now hath or may have of the same in case the said Jno GRAY may survive his intended wife & no issue of said marriage that then and in that case the said Thos GRAY is to take the issues and profits during his natural life that immediately after his decease the said lands & premises shall revert & go back to the said Geo VAUGH but if there be living issue of said marriage all that lease said lands & premises shall go to such child or childn but in case the said Alicia Margt VAUGH shall survive her said husband that we shall have she is to ... and .... living her natural life the rents issues and proffits of said lands and .... but immediately after her decease to go to such child or childn as the said Jno GRAY by his last will & testament ........ shall share and share alike of more than one child that the said Geor VAUGH shall & will within a reasonable time build and furnish (?)two commodious dwelling houses on that part of said plott so assigned as ap'd (afformen tioned) at his own proper costs and charges and when built and furnished will deliver up the lease with a proportion of the garden & yard belonging to the same to the said Tho's GRAY which deed is witnessed by Tho's MAGRATH and Eneas MAGRATH both of Castlerea in the Coy of Roscommon Geo VAUGH (seal) signed and sealed and delivered at place (?) of Tho's MAGRATH En's MAGRATH |
